Red Lion finalizes sale of TicketsWest and WestCoast Entertainment

Red Lion Hotels Corp. has finalized the sale of TicketsWest and WestCoast Entertainment to Paciolan, of Irvine, California, officials said Tuesday.

The $6 million transaction was announced in August.

WestCoast Entertainment brings the “Best of Broadway” and other shows and concerts to the Northwest. TicketsWest is a ticketing and marketing group.

Both entities will keep their brand names and operate as divisions of Paciolan, which describes itself as the second-largest primary ticketing provider in North America. All employees are expected to keep their jobs.

TicketsWest and WestCoast Entertainment were founded in Spokane in 1987.
