Volleyball roundup: Emily Zink helps Gonzaga Prep sweep Rogers

Emily Zink added 22 assists with four aces and Gonzaga Prep (3-0) beat visiting Rogers (0-3) in straight sets (25-10, 25-9, 25-13) in a Greater Spokane League match on Tuesday.

Kate Budig recorded 14 kills with five service aces for the Bullpups.

Central Valley 3, Ferris 0: Hannah Wampler handed out 42 assists and Central Valley (4-0) beat visiting Ferris (2-2) in straight sets (26-24, 25-14, 25-22). Paige Wollan added 18 kills with seven blocks for the Bears. Annika Briggs had 13 kills, 12 digs and two blocks for the Saxons.

Mead 3, Shadle Park 0: Maddie Lee notched 16 kills, three aces and three blocks and visiting Mead (3-0) topped Shadle Park (0-4) in three sets (25-15, 25-17, 25-13). Jillian Groves had 16 assists with four aces for the Highlanders.

Lewis and Clark 3, North Central 0: Amanda Reed had 14 kills with two blocks and Lewis and Clark (2-2) swept visiting North Central (0-4) in straight sets (25-16, 25-17, 25-10). Elizabeth Stoa had 30 assists for North Central.

Mt. Spokane 3, University 1: Miahna Watters notched 13 kills with 13 digs and visiting Mt. Spokane (3-1) topped University (2-2) in four sets (25-20, 22-25, 25-19, 25-15). Alaina Chester had 24 digs with four aces for the Titans.

East Valley 3, Clarkston 0: Sydney Frogge had 26 assists and visiting East Valley (2-4) swept Clarkson (1-6) in straight sets (25-21, 25-18, 25-21). Eva Millan had 18 digs with six kills for the Bantams.

Cheney 3, West Valley 0: Shelby Draper tallied nine kills and visiting Cheney (5-1) swept West Valley (2-4) in three sets (25-22, 25-21, 25-10).

Colville 3, Riverside 0: Kora Pitts tallied 25 assists, six aces and 21 digs and visiting Colville (6-2) beat Riverside (1-7) in straight sets (25-13, 25-7, 25-17).

Newport 3, Medical Lake 0: Olivia Witter registered 30 assists with seven aces and Newport (5-4) swept Medical Lake (0-9) in three sets (25-17, 25-9, 25-15).

Freeman 3, Chewelah 0: Bradee Parisotto had eight kills with two blocks and visiting Freeman (6-1) swept Chewelah (4-5) in straight sets (25-18, 25-16, 25-17). Elizabeth Chalmers added ten assists with six kills for the Cougars.

Lakeside (WA) 3, Deer Park 0: Lexi Mikkelsen registered nine kills with four blocks and Lakeside (8-0) swept visiting Deer Park (3-5) in straight sets (25-11, 25-8, 25-16). Meghan Nicholas led the Stags with 11 assists.

Liberty 3, Asotin 0: Maisie Burnham had nine kills, three aces and four blocks to lead visiting Liberty (4-1) over Asotin (1-3) in straight sets (25-16, 25-19, 25-15). Adrienne Washington notched eight kills with 17 digs for the Panthers.

Northwest Christian 3, Springdale 0: Mattea Nelson had 15 digs with two aces as Northwest Christian (4-0) rolled over visiting Springdale (3-2) in straight sets (25-15, 25-9, 25-6). Brianna Erickson had 11 kills for the Chargers.

Wilbur-Creston 3, Davenport 0: Alicia Johnson had 29 digs with six aces and Wilbur-Creston (2-4) rolled over visiting Davenport (0-5) in four sets (25-20, 19-25, 25-10, 25-17). Sydney Zeiler led Davenport with 12 kills, 14 digs and two blocks for the Gorillas.

Odessa 3, Northport 2: Maddy Wagner logged 12 kills with 13 aces and visiting Odessa (7-2) defeated Northport (5-3) in five sets (25-16, 26-28, 25-12, 22-25, 15-1).

Valley Christian 3, Cusick 2: Kendra Pope had 20 kills with three assists and Valley Christian (3-4) beat Cusick (0-5) in five sets (22-25, 20-25, 25-23, 25-20, 15-3). Veranika Alexeyenko added seven aces with a block for Valley Christian while Jalyna Castillo had 24 digs for Cusick.

Oakesdale 3, Colton 0: Brooklyn Henley tallied 14 kills, 13 digs and five aces and visiting Oakesdale (4-0) swept Colton (4-1) in straight sets (29-27, 25-23, 25-23). Logan Reed had 24 kills with 12 digs for the Nighthawks.

Priest River 3, Kellogg 2: Harlee Meek had 28 assists with four aces and visiting Priest River (2-4) beat Kellogg (2-1) in five sets (18-25, 17-25, 25-21, 25-23, 15-13) in a Intermountain League match. Emilee Clark added 19 digs with four blocks for the Spartans.

St. Maries 3, Timberlake 1: Dakota Wilkes had 29 assists and visiting St. Maries (2-1) beat Timberlake (2-1) in four sets (20-25, 25-18, 26-24, 25-22) in a nonleague game. Kenzie Dean had 17 kills for the Tigers.
