Evacuation warning in place as wildfire spreads near Cle Elum

A level three evacuation notice has been issued for residents near Cle Elum in Kittitas County in response to a growing wildfire in the area.

Homes and other structures are considered threatened. State mobilization has been approved, according to the Washington Department of Natural Resources. The fire has grown to 250 acres.

Level 3 evacuation orders are issued when conditions are considered to present immediate threats to life and safety. Residents are advised to evacuate immediately.
