Football roundup: Connor Halonen’s 4 TDs lead Gonzaga Prep over University
Connor Halonen had four total touchdowns and Gonzaga Prep (5-2, 2-1) defeated visiting University (4-3, 1-2) 42-14 on Friday in a Greater Spokane League game.
Halonen finished with 213 yards with three rushing touchdowns and added 58 yards and a score through the air.
Terrell Sanders ran for 131 yards on 29 carries for the Titans.
Lewis and Clark 28, Ferris 0: Micheal Flaherty rushed for two touchdowns and Lewis and Clark limited Ferris to 126 total yards at Albi Stadium. Xavier Guillory hauled in a 25-yard touchdown pass from Ryan Meyer.

West Valley 41, Cheney 7: Blake Transue tossed four touchdown passes and West Valley (7-0, 2-0) rolled past visiting Cheney (0-7, 0-3) 41-7. Collin Sather scored three touchdowns for the Eagles, one rushing and two receiving.

Colville 34, Freeman 0: Dawson Flugel had four receptions for 172 yards with a pair of touchdowns and Colville (6-1, 5-0) shut out Freeman (5-2, 4-1) 34-0. Anthony Holley rushed for 140 yards for the Indians. Colville logged over 500 yards of total offense.
Newport 20, Lakeside 16: Koa Pancho ran for 63 yards with three touchdowns and visiting Newport (5-1, 4-1) beat Lakeside (4-2, 3-2) 20-16. Dillon Dennis kicked field goals of 30, 39 and 32 yards for the Eagles.
Deer Park 52, Medical Lake 14: Lucas Keller threw three touchdown passes and Deer Park (4-3, 2-3) defeated visiting Medical Lake (0-7, 0-5) 52-14. Trayton Bird ran for 112 yards and two scores for the Stags.

Lind-Ritzville/Sprague 33, Springdale 16: Bryce Kelly tossed three touchdown passes and Lind-Ritzville/Sprague (2-5, 2-5) beat Springdale (1-6, 1-6). Kelly finished with 260 yards passing. Austin Thompson totaled 143 yards receiving and Camden Smith had 91 yards receiving with two touchdowns.
Liberty 23, Northwest Christian 2: James Heer ran for 76 yards with two touchdowns and Liberty (7-0, 7-0) handled Northwest Christian (4-3, 4-3) 23-2 at Freeman HS. Jawuan Nave added 92 yards on the ground with a score.

Northport 44, Inchelium 12: Kade Middlesworth scored six touchdowns and visiting Northport (2-5, 1-3) defeated Inchelium (0-7, 0-5) 44-12. Middlesworth tossed four touchdown passes and returned two interceptions for the Mustangs.
Almira/Coulee-Hartline 66, Wellpinit 0: Logan Braaten had 91 rushing yards and visiting Almira/Coulee-Hartline (6-1, 4-0) defeated Wellpinit (1-5, 1-4) 66-0. Mac Isaak passed for 96 yards with two touchdowns to help the offense. On the defensive side, the Warriors held the Redskins to 50 yards of total offense.
