Girls soccer roundup: Gracie Montoya scores in 80th minute to loft East Valley over Pullman

East Valley 2, Pullman 1: Gracie Montoya scored an unassisted goal in the 80th minute to lead East Valley (6-2-0-0, 18 points) past host Pullman (1-8-0-0, 3 points) in a Great Northern League match on Saturday.

Brie Holecek tied it at 1-1 in the 61st minute for EV. Hailey Talbot scored in the 24th minute for Pullman and goalie Jocelyn Gross had 10 saves.

Clarkston 3, Cheney 2: Eliza Sharp and Cortney Bogar scored in regulation and the Bantams (5-3-1-1, 18 points) edged the Blackhawks (4-4-0-1, 13) 3-2 after a 5-4 shootout in a Great Northern League game.

Taylen Wohl had the difference-maker in the shootout and assisted on Bogar’s 33rd minute marker. Emma Evans and Carla Thorson scored for Cheney in regulation.

St. George’s 3, Okanogan 1: Camberie Rickard notched two goals and added an assist to lead St. Georges (6-3-1, 3-0-0) to a 3-1 win over host Okanogan (6-7-0, 2-3-0) in a nonleague match. St. Georges outshot Okanogan 27-5.

Rocky Mountain 1, Post Falls 0: Melissa Decker scored and Rocky Mountain (13-6-2) eliminated Post Falls (4-10-3) in an Idaho 5A state play-in game in Lewiston.
