Girls soccer roundup: Kailee Hance-Brown and Autumn Stewart help East Valley stay atop GNL

East Valley 5, Clarkston 4: Kailee Hance-Brown and Autumn Stewart each found the net twice and East Valley (8-4, 7-2) beat visiting Clarkston (7-4, 5-4-1) 5-4 in a Great Northern League match on Tuesday. Makinzie Packwood scored a hat trick for the Bantams.

Cheney 4, West Valley 2: Emma Scott collected a pair of assists and found the net twice and Cheney (7-6, 5-5) beat visiting West Valley (5-7, 5-5) 4-2 in a Great Northern League match on Tuesday.

Northeast 1A

Deer Park 1 (5), Riverside 1 (4): Madison Sellars made the game-winning save in the shootout and Deer Park (8-4, 7-3) edged Riverside (2-10, 2-8). Jessie Thomas scored in the 12th minute for the Stags.

Lakeside (WA) 4, Colville 0: Alyssa Figy scored two goals and visiting Lakeside (14-1, 10-1) defeated Colville (3-9, 3-8) 4-0. Payton Stueckle and Alexis Torok also scored for Lakeside (WA).

Freeman 7, Newport 1: Brynn Van Orden scored a hat trick and Freeman (10-2, 8-2) handled visiting Newport (1-10, 0-10) 7-1. Peyton Brewer scored two second-half goals for the Scotties.
