Slowpitch softball roundup: Kiara Morse and Central Valley end University’s perfect season

Central Valley 9, University 5: Kiara Morse went 3 for 4 with two doubles and visiting Central Valley (18-2) defeated University (19-1) 9-5 on Tuesday in Greater Spokane League play. Jordan Williams added two hits including an RBI triple and Grace Stumbough converted four diving catches in the outfield.

North Central 18, Gonzaga Prep 2: Sierra Waid collected four hits and visiting North Central (7-14) beat Gonzaga Prep (1-20) 18-2.

Mt. Spokane 18, Lewis and Clark 3: Brittney Coladonato drove in six runs on two home runs and visiting Mt. Spokane (15-5) defeated Lewis and Clark (5-15) 18-3. Hannah Madsen went 4 for 4 with three RBIs for the Wildcats.

Rogers 11, Ferris 6: Jaelin Schnedier went 3 for 4 with an RBI and a double and Rogers (10-10) beat visiting Ferris (9-11) 11-6. Gracie Olsen drove in a pair of runs for the Pirates.

East Valley 24, Shadle Park 3: Abby Brake and Abbie Meyer each smacked two home runs and visiting East Valley (8-12) routed Shadle Park (4-16) 24-3. Brake finished with seven RBIs and Meyer added six RBIs for the Knights.
