Otis Orchards man dies in crash south of Coeur d’Alene

A 68-year-old Otis Orchards man died early Saturday morning in a vehicle crash on U.S. Highway 95 south of Coeur d’Alene, according to Idaho State Police.

Around 1:30 a.m., Frank M. Reeves was headed north when his vehicle left the roadway, according to ISP. He lost control of his 2005 Chevrolet Silverado when trying to turn around. The vehicle went down a steep embankment and came to rest against a tree.

At some point Reeves, who was wearing a seat belt, exited his truck, according to ISP. He was found down an embankment near his vehicle. He was pronounced dead at the scene.
