Retain Judge Hazel

Judge Tony Hazel should be retained on the Spokane County Superior Court, Position 6. I encourage voters in Spokane County to vote for Judge Hazel when their ballots arrive in the mail.

Judge Hazel went through a rigorous screening process prior to his appointment, and he received the rating of “exceptionally well qualified” from two separate judicial evaluation panels from the Spokane County Bar Association. Judge Hazel is the only candidate in this race who has this rating. His opponent chose not to participate in the evaluation and has, therefore, received no rating.

Judge Hazel has served our community with distinction, both as a sitting Superior Court judge, and as a former prosecutor with the Spokane County Prosecutor’s Office. As a prosecutor, he handled major felonies, including homicides and chronic property crimes. Judge Hazel is active in our Regional Law and Justice Council, which engages in evidence-based practices to make our community’s criminal justice system effective and fair for all.

Please retain Judge Tony Hazel.
