CMR being politically safe

It seems we are at a moral crossroads here, and it is time for courage and clarity. If Rep. Cathy McMorris Rodgers is at all disapproving of President Trump’s handling of the office, she must speak out against him to preserve her dignity and honor, as several fellow Republicans have done.

So far all I have heard are non-specific platitudes obviously crafted to be noncommittal and politically safe. She has a challenging re-election campaign coming up next year, and I’m sure she realizes that if she doesn’t specifically name President Trump in her comments, many will view her as giving tacit approval to his reckless and divisive rhetoric, and obediently submitting to his bullying demands for loyalty.
