Volleyball: Mt. Spokane sweeps West Valley

Miahna Waters recorded four aces and helped visiting Mt. Spokane to a 3-0 (25-12, 25-13, 25-12) win over West Valley in a nonleague volleyball match on Wednesday.

Newport 3, Priest River 0: Cora Pelleberg finished with a match-high nine kills and Crystal Miller had six kills, nine digs and three aces while leading the Grizzlies to a sweep over the visiting Spartans in nonleague play.
