A concert scheduled at the Knitting Factory for Friday with rapper Method Man has been pushed back to Dec. 14.

Promoter Bonaphied Entertainment said on Facebook that Method Man is filming a movie, forcing the schedule change.

Method Man, born Clifford Smith, is a member of the Wu-Tang Clan and half of the duo Method Man & Redman. He is appearing in the new HBO drama “The Deuce.” His acting credits also include “The Wire,” “Oz,” and the feature films “Keanu” and “8 Mile.” He won a Grammy in 1996 for “I’ll Be There for You/You’re All I Need to Get By,” his collaboration with Mary J. Blige.

Tickets purchased for Friday’s show will be honored, the Facebook post said.
