Cross country roundup: Central Valley boys win Fort Steilacoom Invite

Gabe Romney finished in seventh place in 15 minutes, 41.9 seconds and Central Valley boys took the team title at the Fort Steilacoom Invitational in Lakewood, Washington.

Lewis and Clark finished second, paced by Wil Smith’s eighth place finish (15:48.7).

Seaport Invite: Caden Bryer of Lewiston won the boys race in 16:56.99 and Pullman took the team title, led by Asher Cousins’ fourth-place finish (18:23.17). Lewiston came in second while Medical Lake was third.

On the girls’ side, Becky George of Deer park took the individual title (19:06.77) and led the Stags to the team title. Pullman was second and Medical Lake ended in third.
