Cross country roundup: Kate Thronson takes second to lead Lewis and Clark at Bellevue

Bellevue Invitational: Kate Thronson finished second to lead Lewis and Clark to a second place showing at the Bellevue Invitational at Sammamish State Park in Issaquah, Washington.

Erinn Hill from North Central took third and Abby Smith from LC placed ninth.

Wenatchee Invitational: Becky George finished second individually to lead Deer Park to fourth place at the Wenatchee Invitational at Walla Walla Point Park in Wenatchee.

Mt. Spokane boys finished second, Medical Lake was third and Deer Park eighth. The top area individual were Sami Avila (DP, third), Troy Engen (MtS, fourth), Tanner Henry (ML, 16th).

Connell Invitational: Eliason Kabasenche finished fifth and Pullman swept the boys and girls events at the Connell Invitational at Connell HS.

Pullman’s Charity Cordova and Jenna Herzog finished third and fourth, respectively.
