GSL baseball: Devonte Mackin’s go-ahead single helps Lewis and Clark knock off North Central
Here are Monday’s highlights from Greater Spokane League baseball:
Lewis and Clark 10, North Central 7: Devonte Mackin had the go-ahead RBI single in the fifth inning and the Tigers beat the Indians.
Ferris 8, Mead 5: Dylan Bohnert had two hits and three RBIs and the Saxons beat the Panthers.
Gonzaga Prep 1, Shadle Park 0: Connor Coballes allowed only two hits and no runs with five strikeouts, and Noah Drynan scored the lone run on a single in the bottom of the first as the Bullpups edged the Highlanders.
Mt. Spokane 14, Rogers 0: Stu Flesland pitched a complete game shutout, including nine strikeouts, and the Wildcats defeated the Pirates in five innings.
Central Valley 11, University 0: T. Edwards pitched a complete game allowing only one hit and the Bears beat the Titans.
Central Valley 9, University 0: Kyle Clay pitched a scoreless game with three strikeouts, had two doubles on offense, and the Bears beat the Titans in the other game of their doubleheader.
