Water department work to close section of Regal Street

Head’s up, South Hill commuters. Work by the city water department will close a section of Regal Street this week.

Workers will be at the intersection of Regal Street and 37th Avenue on Thursday and Friday. Southbound Regal will be closed between 37th and 38th avenues during the work. Motorists must find alternative routes.

That part of Regal sees an average of about 18,000 vehicles a day, according to city traffic data.
