Gonzaga’s Jessica Mangrobang tied for 30th place and Eastern Washington’s Alexa Clark tied for 34th as the Wyoming Cowboy Classic women’s golf tournament wrapped up Tuesday at the Ak-Chin Southern Dunes Golf Club in Maricopa, Arizona.
Mangrobang shot a final-round 2-over-par 74 to complete three rounds at 6-over 222. Clark was another shot back after following up two even-par rounds with a 79.
EWU placed 18th in the 20-team field at 915. Gonzaga placed 20th at 925.
Medalist Sofie Babic led Sacramento State to the team title. Babic shot a final-round 69 to finish at 211 for a three-shot edge over teammates Astha Madan and Julia Becker, and New Mexico State’s Dominique Galloway.
The champion Hornets (854) finished 22 shots ahead of runner-up New Mexico State.
