Where is SPD for drivers?

I am somewhat new to the Spokane area and have an observation. As a positive, I will mention that I much prefer trying to avoid the idiot drivers on the East Side than dealing with the left-laners on the West Side.

In Spokane? The neighborhood intersections mean nothing. Feel free to speed right through them, with zero consideration that there might be someone coming from the other direction. Yield to the right means nothing! Don’t bother turning your head, slowing down, nothing. It’s the way people drive here.

In Spokane? Stop signs mean … well, you have the option of considering it … but, you don’t really have to stop. Just hope that everyone else is.

In Spokane? Red lights? Yeah, right. Just look (a little … or maybe not at all) and just blow through them.

In Spokane? You da** well better look both ways when you get your green … because more than likely, someone that now has a red still feels that it’s their right of way.

I lived here for four months before I saw my first police officer. Yup! Four months! Where are they?

I’m guessing that the SPD is hiring … because there aren’t any!
