Eastern Washington plans 70-80 plays for first spring scrimmage
Eastern Washington coach Aaron Best said the Eagles will “push the envelope” on Friday in their first spring scrimmage.
Rather than situational drills, the Eagles will “put the ball down and go” for up to 80 plays in a scrimmage that will begin at about 3:45 p.m. at Roos Field.
“All these guys just want to play,” said Best, who hopes to see what younger players can do in game-like conditions.
The Eagles will scrimmage again on April 21. The Red-White Spring Game is set for April 28.
