CasaCano Farms prepares to host a new farm stand this season

CasaCano Farms in Valleyford will be hosting a farm stand on Saturdays this season.

The new CasaCano Farm Store features plant starts, salad mix and other produce, non-GMO pork and grass-fed and finished beef.

The farm is owned and operated by husband-and-wife first-generation farmers Jorge Cano and Madyson Versteeg.

Their new farm stand will be open from 9 a.m. to 5 p.m. Saturdays from May 5 through October.

Also new is the CasaCano Box, a pre-packed box of produce that can be picked up at the farm or at two designated drop points in Spokane. Boxes are available every week or every other week during a 22-week stretch. The first full payment, after a deposit, is due June 1.
