Baseball roundup: Stu Flesland goes the distance in win for GSL-leading Mt. Spokane

Stu Flesland tossed a complete-game three-hitter with six strikeouts and Greater Spokane League leading Mt. Spokane (12-2, 11-1) downed visiting Shadle Park (7-7, 6-6) on Tuesday.

Flesland and Ben McKinnis added a pair of hits apiece and Quintin Ayers drove in a run.

Gonzaga Prep 7, Ferris 4: Josh Grimes scattered four hits across five innings and the visiting Bullpups (11-3, 10-2) defeated the Saxons (7-7, 6-6). Connor Coballes added three hits for G-Prep.

Mead 16, North Central 6: Mason Wells went 3 for 3 with a double and three RBIs and the visiting Panthers (10-3, 9-3) beat the Indians (5-9, 4-8). Mead put up nine runs in the fourth inning.

Central Valley 11, Lewis and Clark 0: Thomas Edwards hit a three-run home run and tossed four shutout innings and the visiting Bears (10-4, 8-4) blanked the Tigers (5-9, 4-8) at Hart Field.

Rogers 5, University 3: Bailey Daniels 3 for 3 with three RBIs, Broc Houser tossed a complete game and the Pirates (3-11, 2-10) beat the visiting Titans (1-12, 0-12). Caleb Morton went 2 for 4 with a triple for University.

West Valley 9, Cheney 8: Brian Andrews delivered a walk-off single and the Eagles (8-7, 4-3) defeated the visiting Blackhawks (4-7, 2-4).

Deer Park 2, Riverside 1: Hunter Dryden struck out seven and the Stags (6-3, 3-2) defeated the visiting Rams (5-4, 4-2).

Colville 10, Medical Lake 0: Tayeb Wilson tossed four hitless innings, added two hits and scored three runs and the visiting Indians (4-7, 3-3) blanked the Cardinals (2-7, 2-6).

Kettle Falls 22, Davenport 0 (Gm 1): Jordan Clendennen went 2 for 4 with a two-run home run and the visiting Bulldogs (11-2, 6-1) beat the Gorillas (0-15, 0-7) in the first game of a doubleheader.

Kettle Falls 13, Davenport 3 (Gm 2): Jordan Clendennen went 4 for 5 with three RBIs and the visiting Bulldogs (12-2, 7-1) beat the Gorillas (0-16, 0-8) in the second game of a doubleheader.

Lind-Ritzville/Sprague 11, Springdale 2 (Gm 1): Easton Nelson went the distance scattering eight hits and the visiting Broncos (5-7, 5-4) pulled away from the Chargers (1-10, 1-6) in the first game of a doubleheader.

Springdale 8, Lind-Ritzville/Sprague 7 (Gm 2): Gavyn Newell had three hits with two RBIs and the Chargers (2-10, 2-6) edged the visiting Broncos (5-8, 5-5) in the second game of a doubleheader.
