Police: Driver intentionally hits 2 pedestrians

BOTHELL, Wash. – Police in Bothell have taken into custody a 22-year-old driver suspected of intentionally hitting two pedestrians in crosswalks and trying to hit three others.

Police said they arrested the man Friday evening, and that he told investigators he tried to hit as many people as possible.

Police said the two women hit by the vehicle were transported to a hospital.

The man’s name hasn’t been released.
