USF shuts out Gonzaga for second straight day to end series

SAN FRANCISCO – The league-leading Dons (23-17, 12-6 West Coast Conference) blanked the visiting Bulldogs for the second straight day with a 3-0 victory on Sunday.

Austin Pinorini had two of Gonzaga’s six hits.

Gonzaga (20-18, 10-8) will continue WCC action with a home series against Loyola Marymount, beginning Friday at 6 p.m.
