Softball roundup: Hannah Wampler, Kelsey Gumm lead Central Valley past Gonzaga Prep to remain unbeaten

Hannah Wampler went 3 for 4 with a double and two RBI and the Central Valley beat Gonzaga Prep 8-2 to remain unbeaten on the season. Julia Andrews went 2 for 2 with a double for the Bears (14-0, 13-0) and Maddy DeMarco went 1 for 3 with a 2-run triple for the Bullpups (5-10, 4-9). Pitcher Kelsey Gumm struck out 12, bringing her season total to 140 over 12 starts.

Nonleague

Medical Lake 13, Davenport 2: Allison Duncan finished 4 for 4 with 3 RBIs and the Cardinals (5-8) beat the Gorillas (4-8).

Northwest Christian 12, Rogers 0: Makenzie Nelson went 3 for 5 with three RBI and a 2-run home run and the visiting Crusaders (18-0) beat the Pirates (7-8). Alison Shaler struck out 13 hitters over six innings for Northwest Christian.

Colton 9, Colfax 5: Addison Kinzer slugged a home run and the Wildcats (12-1) beat the Bulldogs (11-5).

Kettle Falls 19, Republic: Megan Hippler doubled and tripled, driving in four runs, and the visiting Bulldogs (10-8) downed the Tigers (0-11).
