Man arrested in connection to Saturday shooting in North Spokane

Police arrested a man Saturday in connection to a domestic violence shooting in north Spokane.

Kevin O’Quinn, 45, is accused of a hitting a woman and shooting multiple rounds at her car as she drove away near 1600 block of East Rowan Avenue early Saturday morning, according to Spokane police.

Detectives are still searching for the woman, who is believed to have suffered minor injuries.

A loud “distraction device” was needed to apprehend a noncompliant O’Quinn, Spokane police said. He was located near the 1000 block of East Rowan.

O’Quinn was booked into the Spokane County Jail on suspicion of first-degree domestic violence assault and two counts of possession of a firearm by a convicted felon.
