McDonald’s modernizes
McDonald’s plans to spend $126 million to modernize more than 170 restaurants in Washington state this year and next year.
In all, the company and its franchisees are investing $6 billion to modernize most U.S. restaurants by 2020.
The updated restaurants will include expanded McCafé counters and larger display cases, parking spots for curbside pick-up through mobile order and pay, digital menu boards inside and out, self-order kiosks and new dining room decor and furniture.
