Mandatory evacuations over wildfire near Twisp

TWISP, Wash. – Mandatory evacuations are being ordered in eastern Washington state as a wildfire continues to spread.

The Okanogan County Emergency Management agency says those near the fire on Crescent Mountain should immediately evacuate east toward Twisp.

The fire was started July 29 by lightning and has grown to about 58 square miles.
