Men’s soccer: Preston Judd’s hat trick guides Cal Baptist past Gonzaga

Preston Judd accounted for three goals and an assist Friday to guide Cal Baptist to a 5-2 nonconference men’s soccer win over host Gonzaga.

Judd’s hat trick for the Lancers (2-1-0) gives him six goals for the season.

Quinn Liebmann and Demitrius Kigeya scored 7 minutes apart for the Bulldogs (0-1-2), Liebmann on a penalty kick.

Gettysburg 2, Whitworth 1: Jonathan Molina scored in the 71st minute to give the Bullets a win over the Pirates in a nonconference opener for both in Gettysburg, Pennsylvania.

The Bullets’ Precious Ozoh scored on a penalty kick at 13:05. Whitworth forged a tie at 51:20 when Chase Reidt fed Kyle Cacoyannis.

The Bullets outshot Whitworth 20-8.
