Boys basketball: Micah Holmes scores 20 points, Lakeside defeats East Valley

Lakeside (WA) 61, East Valley 46: Micah Holmes scored 20 points and the Eagles (2-1) beat the visiting Knights (1-3). Tyrell Brown scored 18 points to lead East Valley.

Pullman 74, Othello 27: Jack Wells scored 18 points and the visiting Greyhounds (3-0) defeated the Huskies (0-3). Konner Kinkade added 16 points for Pullman.

St. George’s 73, Freeman 57: Erik Farias scored 21 points and the visiting Dragons (3-0) beat the Scotties (2-1). Kaleb Ohler led Freeman with 23 points.

Medical Lake 82, Davenport 46: Samuel Gollehon scored 20 points and the visiting Cardinals (2-1) topped the Gorillas (1-1). AJ Floyd led Davenport with 16 points.

Liberty 56, Chewelah 44: Isaak Ottmar scored 22 points and the Lancers (1-2) defeated the visiting Cougars (1-2). Jacob Holling scored 11 points for Liberty and Johnny Larson and Carl Oman led Chewelah with 10 points apiece.

Kettle Falls 63, Valley Christian 36: Cade McKern scored 16 points and the Bulldogs (3-1) defeated the visiting Panthers (2-1). Matt Thompson scored 14 points for Kettle Falls.

Lind-Ritzville/Sprague 46, Oakesdale 44: Drew Kelly made a game winning layup with two seconds remaining and the Broncos (2-1) beat the visiting Nighthawks (0-2). Kieon Anderson scored 15 points to lead Oakesdale.

Kellogg 53, Lakeland 49: Brennan Atkins led with 23 points and visiting Kellogg (1-2) toppled Lakeland (1-1).
