Boys basketball: C.J. Frogge, Tyrell Brown lead East Valley over Timberlake

C.J. Frogge scored 17 points to lead East Valley (2-3) to a 61-41 nonleague victory over visiting Timberlake (0-1) on Saturday.

Tyrell Brown added 10 points for the Knights.

Cusick 74, Inchelium 63: Colton Seymour notched 29 points with ten rebounds and the Panthers (2-1, 2-0) topped the visiting Hornets (1-2, 1-1). Ethan Hardie added 19 points and 11 rebounds for Cusick.

Almira/Coulee-Hartline 80, Wellpinit 45: Reece Isaak scored 26 points with 16 rebounds and the Warriors (1-0) beat the visiting Redskins (1-2).

Tekoa-Rosalia 55, Kettle Falls 48: Craig Mueller had 18 points and the Timberwolves (3-1) beat the Bulldogs (3-3).

Lakeside (WA) 77, Lakeland 65: Tristan Cox scored 21 points with five 3-pointers and the Eagles (2-3) beat the visiting Hawks (2-4). Josiah Haaland lead Lakeland with 18 points.

Newport 73, Chewelah 47: Ben Krogh scored 19 points and the Grizzlies (1-0) defeated the visiting Cougars (1-3). Nick Franks led Chewelah with 17 points.

Lind-Ritzville/Sprague 63, Wilbur-Creston 44: Cole Cameron scored 17 points and the visiting Broncos (3-1) beat the Wildcats (3-2). Braden Seylor led Wilbur-Creston with 13 points.

Selkirk 64, Cerlew 35: Ryan Zimmerman had 15 points and the visiting Rangers (2-2) downed the Panthers (0-2).

Bonners Ferry 64, Sandpoint 46: Seth Bateman scored 25 points and the Badgers (3-2) downed the visiting Bulldogs (0-3).

Oakesdale 70, St. John-Endicott/LaCrosse 40: Kieron Anderson scored 20 points and had 18 rebounds to lead Nighthawks (2-2) over the visiting Eagles (1-1).

Northport 61, Republic 47: Trenton Baribault made five 3-pointers and went 7 of 7 from the free-throw line for 28 points as the Mustangs (1-3) topped the Tigers (0-4).

Wallace 54, Kellogg 32: Zach Welch and Triston Neubauer scored 15 points each and the Miners defeated the visiting Wildcats.

Reardan 47, Davenport 46: Andrew Alsept scored 16 points and made the winning free throw and the visiting Indians (2-1) beat the Gorillas (1-3). Mitchell McCrea lead Davenport with 14 points.

NW Christian 66, Genesis Prep 61: Dane Simpson scored 24 to lead the visiting Crusaders (3-0) past the Jaguars (0-1).
