Boys basketball: Nick Drynan scores 29 points and West Valley routs Cheney

Nick Drynan scored 29 points with five 3-pointers and West Valley (5-1, 2-0) cruised past visiting Cheney (2-2, 1-1) 74-47 in a Great Northern League game on Friday.

Jake Berman led Cheney with 18 points.

Clarkston 55, East Valley 36: Tru Allen scored 20 points and the Bantams (1-4, 1-2) beat the visiting Knights (2-6, 0-3).

Tyrell Brown led East Valley with 10 points.

Northeast A

Deer Park 76, Riverside 43: Isaac Burglund scored 24 points and the visiting Stags (6-0, 2-0) beat the Rams (2-4, 0-1).

Jordan Nortz led Riverside with 17 points.

Newport 67, Lakeside (WA) 52: Danny Bradbury scored 15 points and the Grizzles (1-0, 2-0) beat the visiting Eagles (1-1, 4-3).

Micah Holmes led Lakeside with 15 points.

Medical Lake 75, Colville 42: Nicholas Mason scored 22 points and the Cardinals (2-3, 1-1) beat the visiting Indians (0-5, 0-1).

Northwest Christian 66, Davenport 46: Reed Loranger scored 19 points and the visiting Crusaders (1-0 5-0 ) beat the Gorillas (0-1 1-4 ).

A.J. Floyd led Davenport with 11 points.

Kettle Falls 57, Chewelah 52: Matthew Thompson and Caden McKern scored 16 points apiece and the visiting Bulldogs (4-3, 1-0) beat the Cougars (2-4, 0-1).

Carl Oman and Jaron Baldwin both led Chewelah with 13 points.

Reardan 65, Asotin 54: Cade Francis had 14 points to lead the Indians (1-0 3-1) past the visiting Panthers (0-1 1-1).
