Girls basketball: Ashlyn Wallace scores 32 points and Clarkston defeats East Valley

Ashlyn Wallace scored 32 points, including five 3-pointers, and Clarkston (5-0, 3-0) defeated visiting East Valley (7-1, 2-1) 61-53 in a Great Northern league match on Friday.

Genesis Wilkinson led the Eagles with 15 points.

West Valley 50, Cheney 47: Jillian Taylor led a balanced attack with 11 points and the Eagles (4-2, 1-1) held off the visiting Blackhawks (1-4, 0-2).

Maggie Smith led Cheney with 15 points.

Northeast A

Medical Lake 53, Colville 31: Jaycee Oliver scored 14 points and the Cardinals (4-1, 2-0) beat the visiting Indians (1-4, 0-1).

Mckenna Reggear led Colville with 11 points.

Lakeside (WA) 45, Newport 33: Joy Mahowald and Kendra Gay scored 17 points apiece and the visiting Eagles (1-6, 1-1) defeated the Grizzlies (1-2, 0-1).

McKinley Leslie led Newport with 16 points.

Deer Park 61, Riverside 43: Havelah Fairbanks scored 13 points and the visiting Stags (5-1, 1-1) beat the Rams (2-4, 0-1).

Brittney Nortz, Eva West and Sam Riggles all led Riverside with 10 points apiece.

Northwest Christian 59, Davenport 43: Jordan Rabe scored 22 points and the Crusaders (5-0, 1-0) beat the visiting Gorillas (3-2, 0-1).

Janay Wilkie led Davenport with 19 points.
