Girls basketball: Genesis Wilkinson’s 16 points leads East Valley past Cheney

Genesis Wilkinson scored 16 points and visiting East Valley (7-1, 2-1) over Cheney (1-5, 0-3) 77-58 on Tuesday in a Great Northern League game.

Faith Adams added 15 points for the Knights and Shelby Draper scored 13 for the Blackhawks.

West Valley 59, Pullman 43: Hailey Marlow scored 18 points and the Eagles (5-2, 2-1) beat the visiting Greyhounds (2-6, 0-3). Nevaeh Sherwood added 14 points for West Valley and Rian Clear led Pullman with 17 points.

Northeast A

Freeman 60, Colville 46: Bradee Parisotto and Jordyn Goldsmith each scored 12 points and the visiting Scotties (6-2, 3-0) defeated the Indians (3-4, 1-2). Kassi Brooks and Hallie Cox led Colville with 12 points each.

Deer Park 46, Newport 39: Taylor Lyons scored 22 points, including five 3-pointers, and the Stags (6-2, 2-2) defeated the visiting Grizzlies (1-4, 0-3). McKinley Leslie and Brook Marsengill each scored 10 points for Newport.

Lakeside (WA) 54, Riverside 41: Kendra Gay scored 16 points and the Eagles (2-6, 2-1) defeated the visiting Rams (2-6, 0-3). Ava West led Riverside with 14 points, while Rylee Thomas scored 13 points for Lakeside (WA).

Northeast 1B

Valley Christian 54, Odessa 38: Phoebe Trigsted scored 26 points with seven steals and Panthers (5-2, 4-1) defeated the visiting Tigers (1-3). Jolynn Pope added 11 points with 10 rebounds for Valley Christian.

Nonleague

Liberty 47, Northwest Christian 44: Maisie Burnham scored 17 points and the visiting Lancers (6-1) defeated the Crusaders (6-1). Jordan Rabe led Northwest Christian with 15 points.

Chewelah 59, Cusick 21: Alyssa Fitzgerald scored 16 points and the visiting Cougars (5-2) defeated the Panthers (1-6).

Oakesdale 52, Asotin 39: Logan Reed scored 18 points and the visiting Nighthawks (6-1) topped the Panthers (0-6). Adrienne Washington led Asotin with 18 points. Lizzy Perry added 16 points for Oakesdale.

Wellpinit 61, Springdale 35: Ashlynn Hill scored 15 points and the Redskins (3-2) defeated the visiting Chargers (2-5). Naomi Turner led Springdale with 12 points.

Almira/Coulee-Hartline 45, Lind-Ritzville/Sprague 39: Gabi Isaak scored 18 points and the visiting Warriors (4-0) defeated the Broncos (3-4). Eliza Galbreath led Lind-Ritzville/Sprague with 13 points.

Idaho

Clarkston 58, Post Falls 44: Ashlyn Wallace scored 30 points and the visiting Bantams (6-0) downed the Trojans (2-8) in a nonleague game. Sandy Faulkner led Post Falls with 11 points.

Timberlake 55, Lakeland 41: McKeeley Tonkin led a three-pronged scoring attack with 19 points and the visiting Tigers (9-1) downed the Hawks (4-5). Taryn Soumas added 17 points and Brooke Jessen 14 for Timberlake. Lauryn Cooper led Lakeland with 12 points.
