GSL boys: Anton Watson’s triple-double helps Gonzaga Prep defeat Shadle Park

Anton Watson scored 31 points with 10 rebounds and 10 assists and Gonzaga Prep (5-1, 4-0) cruised against visiting Shadle Park (5-2, 1-2) 73-52 on Tuesday in a Greater Spokane League game.

Sheadon Byrd added 14 points for the Pups and Liam Lloyd finished with 13. DaMarius Brown led Shadle with 13 points and Taivon Rainwater chipped in with 10.

University 63, Rogers 59: Logan Dreher scored 15 points and the visiting Titans (6-1, 3-1) topped the Pirates (2-6, 1-2). Marcus Lenker scored 14 points and Logan Phillips had 13 for U-Hi. Evan Nomee led Rogers with 26 points, Gavyn Bertholf had 15 and Maks Babich added 14 for Rogers.

Mt. Spokane 56, Lewis and Clark 38: Tyson Degenhart scored 17 points with 10 rebounds and the Wildcats (7-1, 2-1) defeated the visiting Tigers (2-5, 1-3). Degenhart had 15 at intermission and 13-4 run at the start of the second half allowed by Mt. Spokane to open a 20-point lead. Xavier Guillory led LC with 12 points.

Ferris 66, Central Valley 64: Reece Van Lierop scored 26 points, McCoy Spink added 22 and the visiting Saxons (6-2, 3-1) edged the Bears (4-3, 2-2). Cole Omlin chipped in with 11 points for Ferris. Jayce Simmons scored 16 points for CV. Kyle Clay added 14, Shea Holmdahl had 12 and Luke Sukut scored 10 points for the Bears.

North Central 54, Mead 35: Leon Sayers scored 18 points and the Indians (3-4, 1-2) handled the visiting Panthers (16, 0-4). Kiernan Knight had 14 points and Akeyse Rice added 13 for NC. Sam Wenkheimer led Mead with eight points.
