Spokane Chiefs’ Jaret Anderson-Dolan named alternate captain at IIHF World Junior Championship

CALGARY, Alberta – Spokane Chiefs forward Jaret Anderson-Dolan has been named an alternate captain for Canada ahead of the IIHF World Junior Championships, which began on Wednesday in Vancouver and Victoria, British Columbia.

Anderson-Dolan was one of seven Western Hockey League players selected to play for Canada earlier this month. Spokane defenseman Ty Smith is also part of the team.

Maxime Comtois was named as the team’s captain while Evan Bouchard and Ian Mitchell were also named as alternate captains.

Anderson-Dolan, who started the season with the NHL’s Los Angeles Kings, has played in two games for Spokane this season. He has scored two goals, while registering six shots.
