Girls basketball: Jillian Taylor leads host West Valley to win over Mountain Home at Eagle Holiday Classic

Eagle Holiday Classic

West Valley 60, Mountain Home 47: Jillian Taylor scored 21 points, Hailey Marlow added 17 and the Eagles (7-3) beat the Tigers (11-2) at West Valley HS on Friday. Tori Ivans had 12 points for WV while Emalee Pippin led Mountain Home with 17 points.

Lake Roosevelt vs. Lakeside (WA): Joy Mahowald scored 17 points, Kendra Gay added 13 and the Eagles (4-7) beat the Raiders (5-5). Addison Hansen led Lake Roosevelt with 12 points.

Bonners Ferry 47, Deer Park 35: Baylee Blackmore scored 18 points and the Badgers (8-3) defeated the Stags (7-3). Taylor Lyons led Deer Park with 10 points.

Pullman 56, Lakeland 40: Rian Clear scored 17 points and the Greyhounds (3-7) pulled away from the Hawks (5-7). Melody Loutzenhiser led Lakeland with 10 points.

Colfax 48, Okanogan 30: Kierstyn York scored 11 points, Asher Cai added 10 and the Bulldogs (4-5) topped Okanogan (3-7). Maddie Serles led Okanogan with 10 points.

Prosser 64, Sandpoint 53: Halle Wright scored 20 points and the Mustangs (8-2) beat the Bulldogs (2-7). Dawson Driggs led Sandpoint with 18 points, Hattie Larson added 17 points and Maddie Morgan had 12.

East Valley 61, Medical Lake 55: Brie Holecek scored 18 points and the visiting Knights (10-1) beat the Cardinals (5-2). Faith Adams and Genesis Wilkinson added 17 points apiece for East Valley. Jessica Lohman and Lexie Redell led Medical Lake with 12 points apiece.

St. George’s 45, Timberlake 40: Lydia Berquist scored 17 points and the visiting Dragons (4-5) beat the Tigers (10-2). Taryn Soumas led Timberlake with 21 points.

Avista Holiday Tournament

Moscow 42, Wenatchee 40: Rhea Anderson scored 15 points and the Bears (6-7) edged the Panthers (0-9) at Lewis and Clark State College. Moscow plays Lapwai in the fourth-place game on Saturday.

Clarkston 51, Walla Walla 42: Jazmyne Woodbury scored 16 points, Jalena Henry added 11 and the Bantams (9-0) topped the Blue Devils (3-4). Peyton Bergevin had 23 points for Walla Walla.

Greg Larson Memorial

Northwest Christian 46, Freeman 42: Jordan Rabe scored 17 points and the Crusaders (8-1) erased a late deficit to edge the Scotties (8-3) in the tournament championship game. Christelle Simpson and Paige Dawson added 12 points apiece for Northwest Christian. Ashley Boswell and Sydney McLean scored nine points apiece for Freeman.

St. Maries 46, Kellogg 31: Madison Cordell scored 13 points, Kaci Haeg added 10 and the Lumberjacks (7-4) beat the Wildcats (6-6) in the consolation game. Kat Rauenhorst led Kellogg with 11 points.

Kettle Falls Tournament

Colville 63, Springdale 27: McKenna Reggear scored 21 points and the Indians (5-5) defeated the Chargers (2-9) at Kettle Falls HS. Eden Clemmer led Springdale with nine points.

Chewelah 48, Northport 45: Bailey Smith scored 19 points and the Cougars (7-3) beat the Mustangs (6-4). Alyssa Fitzgerald added 12 points for Chewelah while Eliza Stark led Northport with 27 points.

Kettle Falls 43, Odessa 30: Mya Edwards scored 16 points, Zarah Johnson added 10 and the Bulldogs (8-4) defeated the Tigers (1-6). Maddy Wagner led Odessa with 12 points.

Reardan Lion’s Club Tournament

Oakesdale 55, Reardan 38: Logan Reed scored 25 points and the Nighthawks (8-1) defeated the Indians (4-4) in the 73rd annual edition of the tournament. Lizzy Perry had 14 points and Bree Rawls added 13 for Oakesdale. Ayden Krupke led Reardan with 11 points.

Inchelium 62, St. John-Endicott/LaCrosse 49: Rylee Desautel scored 22 points and the Hornets (5-2) defeated the Eagles (5-3). Drew Curtis-Brewer led St. John-Endicott/LaCrosse with 18 points.

Wellpinit Holiday Classic

Wellpinit 65, Yakama Nation Tribal 62: Christina Flett scored 21 points, Jada Orr had 18 and the Redskins (7-2) beat the Eagles (7-3) in the championship game. Sydrah Eagleheart led Yakama Nation Tribal with 18 points.
