Girls basketball: Genesis Wilkinson’s 24 points helps East Valley beat Colton

Genesis Wilkinson scored 24 points and East Valley (11-1) beat Colton (8-2) 65-53 at the Eagle Holiday Classic at West Valley HS on Saturday.

Dakota Patchen led Colton with 24 points and six 3-pointers.

Cheney 65, Sandpoint 36: Maggie Smith scored 15 points and the Blackhawks (4-4) beat the Bulldogs (2-9). Dawson Driggs led Sandpoint with 12 points.

Pullman 55, Newport 37: Rian Clear scored 19 points and the Greyhounds (4-7) beat the Grizzlies (1-7). Alika Robinson led Newport with 17 points.

Bonners Ferry 51 Colville 46: Jerzie Pluid scored 18 points and the Badgers (10-3) beat the Indians (5-6). McKenna Reggear led Colville with 21 points.

Prosser 47, Colfax 36: Marissa Cortes scored 23 points and the Mustangs (9-2) beat the Bulldogs (4-7). Kierstyn York led Colfax with 13 points.

Liberty 63, Mountain Home 50: Maisie Burnham scored 30 points and the Lancers (9-1) defeated the Tigers (15-3). Jazlyn Cristobal led Mountain Home with 22 points.

Davenport 64, Selkirk 22: Janaye Wilkie scored 25 points and the Gorillas (6-2) defeated the Rangers (4-5). Bree Dawson led Selkirk with 10 points.

Timberlake 65, Medical Lake 35: Taryn Soumas scored 18 points and Brooke Jessen added 17 and the Tigers (11-2) beat the Cardinals (5-3). Lexie Redell led Medical Lake with 16 points.

Avista Holiday Tournament

Clarkston 84, Lewiston 44: Ashlyn Wallace scored 38 points with five 3-pointers and the Bantams (9-0) beat the visiting Bengals (5-6) in championship game. Caitlin Richardson led Lewiston with 17 points.

Lapwai 58, Moscow 27: Raquel Domebo scored 18 points and the Wildcats (7-3) defeated the Bears (6-8). Maya Kowatch led Moscow with six points.

Reardan Holiday Tournament

Oakesdale 53, Inchelium 42: Logan Reed scored 21 points with 12 rebounds and the Nighthawks (9-1) beat the visiting Hornets (6-3) in the championship game. Meika Heath led Inchelium with 14 points.

Reardan 56, St. John-Endicott/LaCrosse 45: Kimberly Dewey scored 32 points with eight rebounds and the Indians (5-4) beat the visiting Eagles (5-4) in a consolation game. Riley Lamb led St. John-Edicott/LaCrosse with 10 points.

Evergreen Holiday Tournament

Lake City 52, Burlington-Edison 40: Klaire Mitchell scored 15 points and the Timberwolves (11-2) defeated the Tigers (8-2) in the championship game. Dejah Wilson added 12 points and eight steals for Lake City.

Nonleague

Almira/Coulee-Hartline 65, Yakama National Tribal 51: Gabi Isaak scored 24 points and added 10 rebounds and the visiting Warriors (7-0) beat the Eagles (8-3).
