Reader photo: Two coyotes taking in the view

Photographer Joanie Christian spotted these two coyotes playing in the snow on the shore of Lake Roosevelt in late February. After scampering around for a short while the two wild canines lay down in the snow and watched nearby waterfowl, Christian said.
