TALLAHASSEE, Fla. – Two assistant coaches who have been part of Willie Taggart’s staffs at previous stops will join him at Florida State.

The university announced on Wednesday that Donte’ Pimpleton has been hired as running backs coach and Raymond Woodie will coach linebackers.

Pimpleton was a college teammate of Taggart’s at Western Kentucky. He oversaw wide receivers when Taggart became WKU’s coach and has been his running backs coach at South Florida and Oregon.

Woodie coached defensive ends and linebackers at Western Kentucky before serving as linebackers coach, assistant head coach and defensive coordinator at South Florida. He was the outside linebackers coach and special teams coordinator at Oregon.

Pimpleton and Woodie join Telly Lockette (tight ends) and Odell Haggins (defensive line/associate head coach), who were named earlier.
