Boys basketball: Zane Wilson’s 19 points keeps Pullman undefeated in GNL

Zane Wilson had 19 points and Pullman (5-0 GNL) defeated visiting East Valley (0-5) 66-24 on Friday in a Great Northern League game.

Collin Zurfluh had six points for East Valley.

Cheney 57, Clarkston 29: Nicolas Berman and Cole Omlin scored 12 points apiece and the visiting Blackhawks (1-2 GNL) beat the Bantams (2-2). Tru Allen paced Clarkston with 19 points.

Northeast 1A

Lakeside (WA) 63, Deer Park 61: Landon Harrington drained a buzzer-beater and the Eagles (3-2 NEA) edged the visiting Stags (2-3). Isaac Berglund led Deer Park with 23 points.

Chewelah 90, Colville 58: Dawson Youngblood scored 30 points and the visiting Indians (2-2 NEA) beat the Cougars (1-3). Jacob Lindquist led Colville with 13 points.

Northeast 2B

St. George’s 54, Colfax 35: Noah Halliburton-Link scored 14 points and the Dragons (6-0 NE2B) beat the visiting Bulldogs (6-1). Caleb Berquist led Colfax with 10 points.

Liberty 72, Davenport 66: Jawuan Nave and Isaak Ottmar scored 18 points apiece and the visiting Lancers (4-1 NE2B) defeated the Gorillas (3-3) in overtime. Peyton Buchanan and A.J. Floyd had 13 points apiece to lead Davenport.

Northwest Christian 82, Asotin 78: Josh Maynard scored 31 points and the Crusaders (4-2 NE2B) beat the visiting Panthers (2-4) in double overtime. Eli Engledow led Asotin with 20 points.

Wilbur-Creston 49, Tekoa-Rosalia 48: Layne Smith was fouled and converted a three-point play with one-half second left and the Wildcats (2-4 NE2B) defeated the visiting Timberwolves (0-6). Craig Mueller paced Tekoa-Rosalia with 16 points.

Northeast 1B

Cusick 77, Curlew 22: Kobe Seymour scored 23 points and the Panthers (6-0 NE1B) defeated the visiting Cougars (1-6). Josh Wright led Curlew with seven points.

Almira/Coulee-Hartline 82, Inchelium 15: Reese Isaak scored 19 points and the Warriors (4-1 NE1B) rolled past the visiting Hornets (0-7). Robert McKinney had four points for Inchelium.

Wellpinit 56, Selkirk 31: AJ Bighead scored 12 points and the Redskins (2-2 NE1B) defeated the visiting Rangers (4-2). Jay Link and Justin Krabbenhoft paced Selkirk with eight points apiece.

Columbia 62, Northport 42: Corbin Nelson scored 25 points and the visiting Lions (2-3 NE1B) defeated the Mustangs (3-3). Trenton Baribault paced Northport with 11 points.

Odessa 67, Republic 11: Ryan Moffet scored 23 points and visiting Odessa (5-0 NE1B) defeated Republic (3-3). Joe Koepke paced Republic with five points.

Southeast 1B

Pomeroy 57, Garfield-Palouse 47: Jake Tewalt scored 22 points and the Pirates (6-0 SE1B) defeated the visiting Vikings (4-2). Blake Jones paced Garfield-Palouse with 13 points.

Colton 52, St. John-Endicott/LaCrosse 34: Matt Wolf scored 21 points and the Wildcats (1-4 SE1B) ran past the visiting Eagles (1-3). Griffin Parrish and Talon Danielson scored eight points each for St. John-Endicott/LaCrosse.

Oakesdale 43, Touchet 40: Wesley Castanon scored 14 points and the visiting Nighthawks (4-1 SE1B) beat the Indians (2-3). Isaac Guiterrez led Touchet with 13 points.

Nonleague

Valley Christian 63, Harrington 61: Blake Sturgis hit the go-ahead jumper in the final seconds and the visiting Panthers (4-7) beat Harrington. Adam Bruno scored 28 points for Valley Christian.

Idaho

Lake City 75, Lewiston 57: Hunter Schaffer scored 27 points and the Timberwolves (1-0 IEL5A) defeated the visiting Bengals (0-1) in an 5A Inland Empire League game. Cody McKenzie paced Lewiston with 15 points.

Kellogg 71, Timberlake 30: Chase Jerome scored 17 points and the Wildcats (1-0 IML) beat the visiting Tigers (0-1) in an Intermountain League game. Sheldon Kistler led Timberlake with 10 points.

Lakeland 75, Priest River 34: Ben Zubaly scored 13 points and the Hawks raced past the visiting Spartans in a nonleague game. Keegan Hegel led the Spartans with 16.
