Girls basketball: Ellie Telford’s 13 points leads Davenport past Reardan 58-29

Ellie Telford scored 13 points and Davenport (7-1 NE 2B) raced by Reardan (2-5) 58-29 on Saturday in a Northeast 2B girls basketball matchup.

Kim Dewey led the Indians with 15.

St. George’s 51, Lind-Ritzville/Sprague 39: Lydia Bergquist scored 13 points and the visiting Dragons (7-1 NE 2B) defeated the Broncos (3-4). Peyton Curtis scored 19 points to pace Lind-Ritzville/Sprague.

Colfax 59, Kettle Falls 37: Carmen Gfeller scored 15 points and Colfax (5-2 NE 2B) coasted by visiting Kettle Falls (3-4). Zarah Johnson scored 12 points for Kettle Falls.

Asotin 44, Wilbur-Creston 37.

Northeast 1B

Selkirk 42, Almira/Coulee-Hartline 41: Freshman Bri Dawson hit a winning 3-pointer with 2 seconds left and the Rangers (7-0 NE 1B) defeated the visiting Warriors (5-1) in Ione. Jenna Couch led Selkirk with 15 points and Gabi Issakides paced Almira-Coulee/Hartline with 14 points.

Curlew 43, Wellpinit 42: Korin Baker scored 12 points and the Cougars (6-2 NE1B) beat the visiting Redskins (3-3). Christina Flett had 15 points for Wellpinit.

Valley Christian 62, Northport 29: Phoebe Trigsted scored 28 points and the Panthers (3-2 NE 1B) defeated the visiting Mustangs (3-4). Kendra Pope scored nine points with 15 rebounds for Valley Christian.

Cusick 59, Odessa 56: Gracie StrangeOwl scored 20 points and the visiting Panthers (1-6 NE 1B) defeated the Tigers (2-4). Maddy Wagner led Odessa with 21 points and 15 rebounds.

Republic 55, Columbia 29: Kailee Rittel scored 13 points and the visiting Tigers (1-7 NE 1B) beat the Lions (0-7) in Hunters. Lexi Nelson led Columbia with 14 points.

Southeast 1B

Colton 63, Waitsburg 16: Rylee Vining scored 18 points and the visiting Wildcats (6-0 SE 1B) beat the Cardinals (0-5). Devon Harshman led Waitsburg with seven points.

Pomeroy 41, Oakesdale 36: Maddy Dixon scored 10 points and the visiting Pirates (4-1 SE 1B) edged the Nighthawks (3-2). Logan Reed led the Nighthawks with 15 points.

Touchet 51, St. John-Endicott/LaCrosse 45: Katie Skramstad scored 20 points and the visiting Indians (2-3 SE 1B) defeated the Eagles (0-5). Alynn Harder paced St. John-Endicott/LaCrosse with 19 points.

Nonleague

West Valley 56, Sandpoint 42: Hailey Marlow scored 19 points and the Eagles defeated the visiting Bulldogs. Jillian Taylor scored 11 points for West Valley.

Idaho

Bonners Ferry 62, Priest River 18: Holly Ansley scored 21 points and the Badgers (1-0 Intermountain League) beat the visiting Spartans (0-1). Karah Sink led Priest River with seven points.

Genesis Prep 61, Clark Fork 38: Bell Murekatete scored 21 points and the Jaguars (3-0 North Star League) defeated the visiting Wampus Cats (0-2). Rachel Schroeder scored 18 points for Genesis Prep.

Lake City 40, Eastmont 36: Klaire Mitchell scored 11 points and the visiting Timberwolves defeated the Wildcats in a nonleague game in East Wenatchee, Washington. Kaitlyn Cox paced Eastmont with 15 points.

Genesee 48, Lakeside (Plummer) 43: Courtney Burt scored 19 points and the Bulldogs beat the visiting Knights in a nonleague game. Tommia Pakootas led Lakeside with 14 points.
