North Idaho men win, women lose at Big Bend

The North Idaho College basketball teams split two games at Big Bend Community College in Moses Lake on Monday.

In the men’s game, North Idaho defeated Big Bend 94-76. Rayquan Evans scored 27 points and Iain McLaughlin 21 to lead the Cardinals. Evans added 13 rebounds.

In the women’s game, North Idaho trailed by 16 at halftime but steadily closed the gap in the third quarter and added a furious rally in the fourth before losing 79-78.Cierra Dvorak had 24 points, 10 steals, seven rebounds and four assists for the Cardinals.
