Weekend weather: Some snow followed by rain (again)

Snow is expected through the end of this week and into the weekend, followed by rain, in Spokane.

The National Weather Service predicts snow showers for Thursday, mostly after 4 p.m. The chance of precipitation is 60 percent with a high of 39 degrees. Snow accumulation of less than 1/2 inch is possible

The snow will continue Friday morning, mostly after 4 a.m. Snow will continue into Friday, but after 4 p.m. snow will likely change to rain mixed with snow. The weather service is predicting a high of 38 degrees. The chance of precipitation is 60 percent with snow accumulation of less than 1/2 inch.

It will continue to snow early Saturday morning through the morning and into the afternoon. After 1 p.m. snow may be mixed with rain. New snow accumulation of less than 1 inch is possible, according to the National Weather Service.

Rain is likely Saturday night after 10 p.m. The chance of precipitation is 70 percent with a low of 34 degrees.

There will be more rain on Sunday. Chance of precipitation is 90 percent with a high of 43 degrees.
