Another apartment building is coming to Spokane’s South Perry District, and it will share a lot with an existing house.
The proposed fourplex, 1608 E. Hartson Ave., is being built by Nick Barnes, Brook Cunningham and Andrew Mills, who together own about 20 other rental buildings in the area.
The four units in the proposed Perry building will each be about 1,000 square feet and rent for between $1,000 and $1,100, Barnes said.
“They’re going to be a little more upper-end,” said Barnes, noting adjacent multifamily units don’t reflect his and his partners’ plans. “We want to try to continue the Perry street feel here.”
The building, valued at $425,000, is anticipated to be complete by the end of the year.
The project’s general contractor is Barnes’ Construction Services. It was designed by Russell Page Architects, of Spokane. – N.D.
Southeast Blvd. building purchased; tenants sought
The Boulevard Park Office Center has sold for $1.05 million to a family that owns a number of local convenience stores and hotel-motels.
Ranvir and Harbhajan Nagra bought the two-story, 6,400-square-foot building at 2697 S. Southeast Boulevard out of foreclosure from Wells Fargo.
Joel Crosby, with Caldwell Banker Tomlinson Commercial, represented the Nagras in the sale. Crosby is now seeking tenants for the building.
“They’re a great family. They own several businesses and buildings around town,” Crosby said. “We’ll do improvements as we get tenants in there.”
Crosby said the Nagras also will improve the parking lot and the building’s sign.
The building last changed hands in June 2017 for nearly $1.3 million. It is assessed at $1.68 million, according to county records. – N.D.
Domino’s franchisee plans retail building on Sullivan Road
Pacific Pie Inc., a Spokane-based franchisee of Domino’s Pizza, is developing a multitenant retail building on Sullivan Road in Spokane Valley.
Plans call for a more-than-6,000-square-foot building with four suites at 604 S. Sullivan Road. One suite will be occupied by Domino’s Pizza, according to plans filed with the city.
The construction cost is more than $490,000. The project’s general contractor is Spokane-based Yost Gallagher Construction. – A.E.
