Revolution, Sounders play to scoreless draw

FOXBOROUGH, Mass. – Matt Turner recorded his fourth shutout of the season and the New England Revolution played to a scoreless draw with the Seattle Sounders on Saturday night.

Turner made one save for the Revs (7-4-7) and Stefan Frei needed one save in his clean sheet for the Sounders (4-9-4).

New England extended its unbeaten streak to seven.

Seattle, 10th place in the Western Conference, next heads to MLS-leading Atlanta on Sunday (11 a.m., Fox 28). The Sounders should feature newly-acquired striker Raul Ruidiaz, who becomes eligible when the MLS transfer window opens on Tuesday.

Sounders land new jersey sponsor in online retailer Zulily

The Seattle Sounders have a new jersey sponsor after signing a multiyear deal with online retailer Zulily. The Sounders had been sponsored by Microsoft and Xbox since the club’s inaugural season in 2009 but that partnership concluded at the end of the 2018 season.
