Get real about abortions

Let’s stop kidding around about abortions. The Susan B. Anthony List folks don’t seem to be interested in stopping abortions. Providing contraception is a proven way to reduce and stop abortions from happening, but we don’t hear any support for contraception from groups who are very loud about reducing abortions.

So what are men doing about abortion? Are men using condoms or getting vasectomies? Doing so stops abortions. Is there a great deal of research into male contraceptives? That would put guys in charge of this concern, rather than it being “just a women’s problem.” Or are only women responsible for having babies?

Let’s hear from the folks who are against abortions, including Catholics and other religious organizations regarding their support for males helping out in reducing abortions. Or their support for free contraception. Or perhaps they could stop pretending that they want to stop abortions. It is obvious that many politicians who call themselves “pro-life” throw that position out the window when they decide their girlfriend needs an abortion. They then continue pretending. If hypocrisy were fatal they would be gone. We never hear from the anti-choice folks about their former heroes fall from grace, so stop pretending.
