An inspiring letter

Dave McCann (Letters, 7/3/18) is absolutely entitled to his opinion and to express it the way he prefers. When he says “Ms. Brown is the candidate of the hysterical left …” the unmistakable impression is that Dave wants us to believe that there is such a thing as “the hysterical left” and that if you support Lisa Brown you are “one of those people.”

My reaction to Dave’s letter was to make another contribution to Lisa Brown. Most Americans do not like what they see and hear about Congress. We really need to do something to change that. Every vote counts.
