Worried about straws?

Really? Everyone is worried about 500 million straws used per day in the U.S.? They do not compare to the 20 billion disposable diapers that go into U.S. landfills each year introducing pathogens, methane gas and toxins that can and do leach into our drinking water.

That’s 570 disposable diapers thrown out per second that take an estimated 500 years to degrade. How about the 200,000 trees used for disposable diapers per year? Mothers nowadays are so concerned about convenience that they won’t use cloth diapers. Shame on them.
