The North Idaho Centennial Trail foundation will hold its annual fundraiser on Aug. 11. The Ales for the Trails event doesn’t involve any biking or walking. But there are plenty of ales, said Todd Dunfield, the executive director of the North Idaho Centennial Trail Foundation.

Dunfield said there will be 34 breweries. Each brewery donated two kegs.

Tickets cost $30. The event will be held at McEuen Park in downtown Coeur d’Alene from 2 to 8 p.m. The event is limited to 400 people, so sign up in advance at alesforthetrail.org/home.html.
