Bike swap brings in $26,000 for charity

The 2018 Spokane Bike Swap raised $26,000 for Big Brothers Big Sisters of the Inland Northwest.

More than 2,600 people attended the one-day event, according to a Spokane County news release. Nearly 600 bikes were sold with total proceeds tallying $34,000. Of that, $8,000 was used as seed money for the 2019 event.

Next year’s bike swap is scheduled for April 13.
